EAll applicants will be screened under one of the following categories: [A] general applicants, [B] currently employed persons or [C] international students.
EThe screening category cannot be changed once the application is submitted.
Applicants must satisfy any requirement in either one of the following categories [A], [B] and [C].
[A] General Applicants
(1) A person who holds a Masterfs or a Professional Degree.
(2) A person who has been granted a Masterfs degree or other degree equivalent to a Professional Degree in a country other than Japan.
(3) A person who took a distance education course at an overseas school and has been granted a Masterfs degree or other degree equivalent to a Professional Degree in Japan.
(4) A person who completed an appropriate course and has been granted a Masterfs degree or other degree equivalent to a Professional Degree by a foreign academic institution in Japan which carries an appropriate status in its home country as an graduate-level educational institution and is designated by the Ministry of Education in Japan as such an institution.
(5) A person who has been designated by the Japanese Education Minister (Refer to official announcement no.118 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 1989).
(6) A person aged 24 years or over who is recognized to possess an academic ability equivalent to or higher than that of a Masterfs or Professional Degree holder at the individual entrance qualification screening of this course.
Applicants making a submission under qualification categories (5) or (6) must pass the individual application qualification screening prior to the application.
[B] Currently Employed Persons
Applicants making a submission under this category must satisfy any one of the qualifications required for general application stated above and possess specialized working experience of more than 3 years either at a medical, healthcare or public welfare facility, educational research institution, government office or in the private sector.
Applicants making a submission under qualification categories (5) or (6) must pass the individual application qualification screening prior to the application.
[C] International Students
(1) Persons who have been granted a Masterfs degree or other degree equivalent to a Professional Degree in a country other than Japan.
(2) Persons aged 24 years or over, who have received education outside Japan and are recognized to possess an academic ability equivalent to or higher than that of a Masterfs or a Professional Degree holder at the individual entrance qualification screening of this course.
Applicants making a submission under the qualification category (2) must pass the individual application qualification screening prior to the application.
